Who is Hedwin Corporation, and what is the company's background in making liner products?
Hedwin Corporation celebrated its 54th year of operation in May 2000. Hedwin created the concept for, designed, and manufactured some of the first industrial liners sold to Industry. Our product offerings have expanded over the years and now include a broad range of liner products designed to service both shipping and in-plant processing applications.
Hedwin Corporation is also the first and only manufacturer in our Industry to be ISO 9001 certified in the design and manufacturing of its products.
Okay, now we know about Hedwin Corporation, but what's mroliners.com?
mroliners.com is Hedwin's new e-commerce venture designed to bring innovative change to the way Industry purchases its liner product requirements. Hedwin has created mroliners.com to provide Customers with a fast, easy e-commerce option to compliment traditional telephone, fax, and mail ordering methods. The name "mroliners" has been created from a combination of the commonly used industrial term "MRO", which refers to maintenance, repair, and operations items that companies purchase, and liners!
The minimum order requirements at mroliners.com seem high. Why is that?
Hedwin's Internet Initiative has embraced the Internet's potential to boost productivity, save our Customers valuable time, and provide convenience. We are committed to the task of finding new and creative ways to service our Customer's needs, as well as communicate with prospective Customers who have questions about our products. We are, however, equally committed to our Distributor Network, which consists of 18 companies located throughout the continental U.S., and Canada. Hedwin firmly believes in the value-added service offered by these sales organizations, and is committed to their continued sales growth. Each Hedwin product, whether sold direct from the manufacturer, or through a local Distributor, reflects our Total Quality commitment to products and services, and is backed by the technical expertise of the Hedwin Engineering and Technical Group.
There are no Distributors listed for pressure tank liners. Why is that?
While Hedwin does have "official" Distributors for its standard liner products, we do not as yet maintain any official relationships with Distributors or resellers of spray equipment accessory items such as pressure tank liners. Having serviced this marketplace indirectly through pressure tank manufacturers since the 1970's, Hedwin's current policy is to create a spirit of cooperation and environment of mutual respect with companies in the marketplace who sell accessory items such as liners. Thus far, the reception from this segment of the business community has been very positive, and we're appreciative of the warm welcome the Industry has extended to us.
How can we expect our order to be shipped?
Hedwin typically uses a "common carrier" with which we have negotiated low prices without sacrificing service. Freight cost is passed along to the Customer on the order invoice in what is typically called "Prepaid and Charge": Hedwin pays for the freight at the time the order is shipped and the freight charge is then placed on the Customer's invoice along with the cost of the
product(s). The vast majority of all liner orders are shipped in this manner. However, on rare occasion, an order might be small enough where the use of United Parcel Service may be advantageous from a cost/delivery time standpoint.
Can I use a credit card for my purchases?
You may use a credit card for purchases of pressure tank liners. Standard liner products may be secured with the use of a purchase order number entered by the Customer at the time of order (All orders are subject to credit approval.).
Some Hedwin liner products feature Anti-Stat. What is that, and what does it do?
Hedwin liners can be produced with anti-static or static-dissipative properties to meet specialized applications. For specific information on these available options, please
